Fun in Dallas

We went to Dallas for a little Spring Break fun this year.  Carol Grace's birthday always falls on spring break.  We asked her this year if she would like a party or a trip..she chose TRIP!! Of course it had to involve going to American Girl! 



We started our trip off with a visit to the Dallas Zoo.

I am just in love with these two little ones.  Carol Grace loves that little guy, and he just adores her too!

In the children's zoo area they have a bird feeding attraction.  The birds seemed smitten with us..especially my hair!  CG was not into this at all!  Notice her her eyes on the birds!  Cracks me up!

Then we rode some horses..

Fed some Giraffe's...


And then ended our day at THE Purple Cow!

The next day we went to a Thomas and Friends outing.  Connor was overwhelmed with excitement!!

We ended our day at the Rainforest Cafe..and this amazing volcano of chocolate!  They made Carol Grace stand on a chair and pound her cheast like a gorilla while they sang Happy Birthday to her!  She loved every second.

And then American Girl the next day.  It was Carol Grace's birthday!!

He is completly wrapped around her finger, and loves every second.

That is Shella Diamond..getting her hair done!  She just got her ears pierced.  For whatever reason it was very difficult for me to agree to the ear piercing.  Made my girl seem even older than her 8 years.



All done and now time to go home.
